and with grandpa and grandma...
We left Santa tons of cookies and a cupcake, Frosty the snowman a candy cane and a candy cane cookie (since he always leaves us candy canes in our stockings) and we left the reindeer granola with blueberries and flax seed (they probably get tired of carrots).
and our family tradition of getting your picture taken at the end of the hall before you run out to get your stocking...
On Christmas day night we went to my aunt and uncle's house and had a little game of trivia and the boys won (I think they cheated, LOL)! We played so long, my girls even kept asking to go home so we could go to bed. Sorry girls, mama got a little competitive!
Cassidy is better now and we found out it was backed up intestines that were causing the hip pain. Taking care of that and hoping it never happens again so she doesn't ever have to have a "supposit" again.
We spent New Years Eve at our friends loser party, even though we totally don't feel like losers at all, just lucky! The next day was so nice we were able to get out our bikes and do some bike riding.
The girls using one of their Christmas presents (Cassidy wouldn't let me take a picture)...
The last thing I did during these couple of weeks was go crazy decluttering our house. I was selling things on craigslist, giving away things on Freecycle (the coolest thing!) and took almost my whole car filled with stuff to the thrift store. It has been so nice. When you don't have as much stuff, there is not so much stuff to go all over the house. We are on our way to having the things we really care about in our home and not just tons of stuff because we can.
I am grateful for the peace that has been creeping it's way back into our home!
