wednesday

Today we changed our plans a little bit. We were going to go see the New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking at the free movies but because Taylor and Cassidy had to wear their boy clothes, we needed to wait until they were dry. Instead we went to the library to see if we could get the movie and so that the girls could turn in their papers for the summer reading program. We are done and they got : Taylor and Cassidy both got a Narnia, Prince Caspian book (different ones) and Emily got a Magic Treehouse book. We also checked out some more books, we cannot go to the library unless we get new stuff! Emily was all about researching pets she wants. She did realize a rabbit was not a good pet for our back yard because it was good prey for foxes and other things wandering through. Cassidy realized a hippo was not a good pet because we were good prey and it may not fit in our yard. LOL. We then went to the park with some friends.

Here they are eating a homemade version of lunchables...

and some scootering...

The kids were collecting seed pods off the ground from the trees. Cassidy really enjoyed them and we got to bring them all home.

This one Taylor and her turned into a snake...

We had to end our time at the park a little early because of wind and rain so we went to Whole Foods. We have never been there so we spent a good hour and a half there looking at and sampling everything. The girls wanted a dinner in their bentos, so we ended up getting sushi rice with nori (dried seaweed), honey dew, kiwi, dried jackfruit (Emily loves this and my friend Misty looked it up cause I called her to find out if it was really fruit, haha, it is the largest tree borne fruit from southeast Asia), mini tuna and apple pita sandwiches, avacado, snap pea crisps and whole wheat mini chocolate chip cookies. Everyone is so happy in that store. Nice people shopping, friendly people working there, people willing to help you find things or answer questions. Like Vitamin Cottage, I really like shopping there (Vitamin Cottage more cause of my friend Heather). Again, I just wish prices were a little lower! We had fun making dinner, everyone helped and then after clean up the girls did a couple hours of bike riding.

The girls had our thankful for today...We are thankful for our library where you can get almost anything you want for free!
